About Me

Sometime in the early 80's, a young struggling family was walking through the yearly collection of garage sales in an upscale section of Vestal, NY. Hunting for bargains was a way of survival for this particular family, so it was only natural that you would find them at garage sales. On this particular day, however, the family was debating purchasing something that was not essential, well, at least not to the family. To a young boy who had decided that it was the only thing he wanted in life, it was absolutely essential!

After some time of struggling, the family decided to sacrifice for their child, and one happy little boy walked home from the garage sale with a Commodore 64, a 12 inch Black and White TV, and a Commodore Tape Drive. Over the next six or seven years as the little boy grew up, at times the family enjoyed (only a few a times) and at times regretted (a lot of times, like when the boy played computer games instead of homework) that decision. The little boy however, always enjoyed that decision, and invested a lot of time learning how to program that little Commodore 64, and even eventually managed to beg his parents to upgrade that C64 to an Amiga 2000. Then the little boy was VERY happy!

Today, that little boy is me. (In spite of all the time that has passed, the little boy hasn't grown up much!) After taking a long hiatus from computers to learn more about what I DIDN'T want from life, I am back! With grace from God to spare me from my own (at times) stupidity and some help from some great childhood friends (especially Mike Welch to whom I owe a lot when it comes to computers and many other things), I have decided that one of my goals in life is to release some games that are fun like the games I remember from the "good ol' days!"
